PATRICIA THINKS YOU'RE A GOOD FRIEND - 04/06/21
Now that the terraces are open, they're overflowing. Cafés and restaurants look as if they've been ripped open, and tables and chairs are spilling out onto the cycle paths.

But now Paris is once again a party town and the curfew is going to be extended to 11pm and then ad infinitum for those who have access to first-class illicit substances. In short, it seems that "the world after" will start the day after tomorrow, so much so that the world before seems to be coming back with a vengeance.
From now on, it's up to each of us to do our best to regulate this madness, which is coming back to us like a replica of the previous wave. And what better way to do this than with a pair of Patricias to shine brightly and attract the most beautiful souls available on planet Earth?
To wear Patricia is to be part of a very exclusive club, to be different, to smile at life, no matter how many face pies it throws at you. To wear Patricia is to be a garland on the tree of your life.

Apart from the huge text above, what happened on June 4th that would make this messianic newsletter worth reading all the way to the end? Well, it's simple: today we're celebrating the birthday of Alain de Greef, the totemic figure at Canal+ who put on the air all the cult programmes that some of us grew up with.

Apart from that, I wanted to put a little lyrical joy in your hearts by announcing that today is also the birthday of El de Barge, a wonderful singer, one of a sibling group of ten under the name of De Barge, signed to Motown, and who brightened up the 80s with tracks that were an atomic blast. Unfortunately their power of attraction was somewhat diminished by the hegemonic presence of Michael, who took over much of the airwaves at the time.

There you have it, enjoy yourself, and I'll leave you with this famous title from the de Barge family.
