Use a waterproofing cream rather than a spray, and avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and water. If you need to refresh the color, apply a color-matching polish. Your shoemaker will certainly be able to please you on this subject. Be sure not to nourish the glitter part, as the glitter material requires no special maintenance—just attention and constant love. Don't wait too long to have a protective sole placed by a skilled shoemaker.
