THE YEAR OF ALL KISSES
Patricia understood you.
I hadn't planned to write a newsletter but being as excited as a flea, I couldn't keep these words to myself. I've got to tell you, I'm going to be published again. Yes, miracles do happen. I'm the shining proof.
Am I the Gabrielle Attal of shoes? It's a question worth asking. Do you have the answer? The answer is no. Even if my Gaby pumps could make you think the opposite (Gaby, Gabriel). Why am I so happy? Because you see, I'm going to be edited again so (I have to repeat myself to believe it).
That's right. Who'd have thought it? Even I doubted it, although deep down inside, a little glimmer of hope kept shining on me that things were about to change for the better.
With Patricia Blanchet, I'm positive, you might say. And you'd be right. Because that's why I work so hard: to make you come with your feet. I just wanted to tell you how happy I am to be published again. My book will be about the continuation of my adventures. What have I become, where am I going? It's made up of projection games, hints and clues that I'm sure will delight you. This new opus is 1,000 pages long and is the fruit of a collaboration between myself and a cosmic double living in a multiverse with whom I've made contact thanks to Professor Raoult. We have joined our two minds and written, four-handed, what is already shaping up to be the revival of French literature (according to my agent, my mother and my dog).
For the time being, I'm not allowed to reveal the best parts, but you can be sure that but I'll have you know that in it, I describe my kisses to the stars and my creative wanderings. Because, yes, I sometimes fail. It's also my introduction to the spirituality and pleasures of yesteryear, like drinking Cacolac straight from the fountain. The book promises to be a fascinating read, full of Tolkien-style bravery. While you're waiting to read me avidly during your vacations, you can always treat yourself to a pair of Patricia. I'd like to give you a big kiss and wish you a pleasant night.
