PATRICIA CATAPULTS YOU INTO THE STARS - 04/30/21
It's April 30th and I still haven't received my Playstation 5. It may seem like a small thing to you, but to me it means a lot.
Do you realize that Sony, the electronics giant, is incapable of delivering beautiful, gleaming consoles for us to discover new worlds, leaving us sadly stuck in this one?
I was just trying to point out that Sony is lagging behind when Patricia is fulfilling her contract by delivering new models and colors twice a week.
So it's only fitting that Patricia should rule the world, buy Japan and a Hollywood studio. Which makes for a perfect transition, since ninety-four years ago (I like spelling it out, it makes it easier for you to read) Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, the famous powerful couple of silent Hollywood, were the first to leave their footprints in the floor of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, a flamboyant cinema on Hollywood Boulevard.
So adored was this acting couple that on their honeymoon to Paris, there was a giant stampede, a riot, forcing her to take refuge in a meat container.
When heads of state and other eminent persons were welcomed to the White House, they had only one thing in mind: to be invited to Pickfair, the house they both owned.
Chaplin was often there, as were Albert Einstein, H.G. Wells and Renaud Blanchet. The parties there were gigantic, and would make Gatsby's look like an underground party at the Buttes-Chaumont.
I'll leave you with this fascinating analogy, not forgetting the song that goes so well with a great big Cosmo:
