If you want your shoes to always remain in excellent condition, it is important to waterproof your nubuck leather pumps before the first use, and then frequently if you want to keep them in good condition. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun and water. If the material is bleached, it is recommended to use a suede renovator spray in the color of your shoe. Be sure to waterproof only the nubuck, as the glitter requires no special maintenance—just attention and constant love. Don't wait too long to have a protective sole placed by a skilled shoemaker.
