This iconic phrase uttered by Mrs Mitterrand as she finished her lobster with cream sauce took her audience by surprise, as she attended a G7 dinner in support of world peace and on Saturn.
But in hindsight, we can say that this prophetic phrase was right on the money, because this great lady had foreseen the advent of Patricia Blanchet and her glittering shoes.
To pay tribute to Danièle, and start the new year in style, I had no choice but to cover you in glitter. So here's something to dazzle your pretty eyes.
